WE CARE, WE SHARE CHARITY CREATES BETTER FUTURE TOGETHER | “光爱传承,让爱传递” 慈善活动 筹备17万资助贫困孩子

KUALA LUMPUR: Thirty-five corporate ambassadors of the “We Care, We Share” charity event were honoured for their generosity in helping 1,000 under-privileged children at a brief but grand ceremony at the Space Hotel Chinatown here.

Certificates of appreciation were presented to them to acknowledge their charitable efforts and kind gestures, which are expected to benefit 1,000 “little angels” or children, a press conference organised by the SME Association of Malaysia-Women Entrepreneurs Division (SME Malaysia-WED) announced today.

The “We Care, We Share” charity event was co-organised by SME Association of Malaysia, Shanghai Businesswomen’s Enterprise Social Club, Rahman Putra Rotary Club and Rotary Kasih Life Transformation Project. They collectively raised RM170,000.00 while the charity’s original fundraising target was RM200,000.00.

The event was hosted by Ms. Ada Poon, Chairman of the SME Malaysia (Women Entrepreneur and Young Entrepreneur Division), whose VIP guests included Datin Cherlin Cheah, Chairman of Shanghai Businesswomen’s Enterprise Social Club, Mr. Chua Keng Soon, Chairman of the Rotary Club of Rahman Putra, Dato’ Dr. Catherine Pang, Chairman of  “We Care, We Share” charity event and other corporate attendees.

All funds raised will be used for four projects, including providing aid for underprivileged students in primary and secondary schools, rebuilding orphanage homes besides other activities like periodical visits to the orphanage and organising living skills learning outside the classroom. The three primary and three secondary schools whose students became beneficiaries were from SJK (C) Serdang Baru 1, SJK (C) Confucian, SJK (C) On Pong; SMK Taman Tasik, SMK Seri Keramat, SMK Pandan Indah. (吉隆坡2021年4月16日讯)马来西亚中小企业公会、商海女企业家俱乐部 、拉曼布拉特扶轮社和扶轮 Kasih生活转型计划共同推动的“光爱传承,让爱传递”慈善活动在45天内筹获17万令吉,而该款项将用来协助贫穷家庭的孩子,预计会有1000名“小天使”受惠。

主办方周五也在茨厂街太空酒店颁发感谢状给35家协助是次筹款的企业爱心大使,以表彰他们善意的举止及对慈善活动的贡献。

出席的贵宾包括马来西亚中小企业公会女企团及青年团主席潘艳虹、商海女企业家俱乐部主席拿汀谢进潾、拉曼布特拉扶轮社宪章主席蔡景顺先生、活动主席拿督彭美仪博士、大马中小型企业公会森州会长陈秀群、活动成员拿督苏宏坤以和35家企业爱心大使代表。

潘艳虹指出,“光爱传承,让爱传递” 慈善活动的募款目标为马币20万令吉,尽管今次只筹获17万令吉,但剩余的3万令吉将会通过认领500个“铺满”活动填补。

“我们是在2020年12月16日发动筹款,并在45天筹到17万令吉。”

彭美仪指出,主办单位将提供500个铺满,以每天1令吉为期3个月的方式号召500位爱心天使参与这项慈善活动。

“无论是企业或个人都可以参与,每天1令吉为期3个月的方式将等同每个铺满可筹得90令吉,500个铺满预计可筹得4万5000令吉。目前已经有200个铺满被认领。”

她说,所有筹集的款项将用于包括提供小学生与中学生援助金、重建孤儿院家园、拜访及援助孤儿院以及户外学习4个项目。

“预计其中3间小学和3间中学将各别获得4万5000令吉和6万令吉的款项、另5万令吉是用来重建家园,拜访孤儿院和户外学习则各别是1万5000令吉和3万令吉。”

此外,谢进潾指出,受惠单位包括3所小学和3所中学,分别是沙登新村国民型华文小学一校、吉隆坡尊孔华小、安邦国民型华文学校、Taman Tasik国中、Seri Keramat国中和班丹英达国中。另外,还有30家孤儿院受惠。
